Yes! Appointments are required so that one of our experienced bridal stylists can give you personalized attention. We recommend scheduling your appointment at least 2–3 weeks in advance.

You can book online anytime. Please make sure to choose which location — Kansas City, Ft. Lauderdale, or St. Louis — when scheduling your appointment.

We dedicate 90 minutes to each bride. Our stylists have found that this is the perfect amount of time to allow our brides to browse through our inventory and try on their favorites.

Big groups usually come with big opinions, we recommend only bring your closest friends and family members. Your mom, sister, and best friend are the perfect people to bring.

Yes, you’ll need to book an accessory appointment. You’re welcome to bring your dress—even if it’s not from Savvy—to try on and find the perfect accessories. During your appointment, you can shop for veils, gloves, belts, boleros, and jewelry to complete your look.

Save it and share it with your stylist ahead of time. While we can’t guarantee every sample will be available, we’ll do our best to have similar options ready for you.

No problem! You can easily book a follow-up appointment.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. In most cases, we have appointments prior to and immediately following your appointment. Should you arrive early or late, we may not be able to assist you. Please allow enough time for parking.

If you are running late to your 90 minute shopping appointment please call us to let us know. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will mark you down as a no-show and cancel you from our scheduling system.

No — you’ll need a bridal appointment to try on dresses and shop during trunk shows. If you’ve already visited and just need to finalize your decision, please book a “Come Back Appt”

Because appointments are in high demand, we require a card to hold your spot. The hold is only charged if you miss your appointment without canceling 24 hours in advance.

You will receive a text message and emails to confirm your appointment before your appointment. Please be sure to check your spam folder.

For weekday appointments we recommend booking 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Our Saturday appointments book up quickly, so we recommend booking 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so in your confirmation email or you can email us.

There is no charge to attend your appointment, however, our boutiques have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments require a credit card be placed on file when booking your bridal appointment. Brides who no-show to their appointment, or, cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee. A no-show is considered when a bride is over 15 minutes late to her appointment, and does not respond to any calls or texts from us.

Absolutely! If time allows, we can help you find both your gown and accessories during your bridal appointment.

At this time, we do not offer a payment plan system. However all of our Savvy Bridal locations (Kansas City, MO, Saint Louis, MO & Ft. Lauderdale, FL), you can either pay in full or put 80% down (and pay the remaining balance at pick-up or via online invoice). We are happy to work with brides on payment plan, depending on the circumstance. This is at our discretion.

We accept all major credit cards and cash.

A 80% deposit is required to place your order. The remaining balance is due when your gown arrives. Off-the-rack dresses require full payment at purchase. We do offer a 50% down on our Off-the-rack dresses with the remainder balance to be paid within 30 days of purchase.

Yes. A 3.5% credit card platform fee is applied to all purchases made using a credit or debit card. As a small business, we’ve absorbed this cost for years, but due to rising operational expenses and platform processing fees, we are now passing it along to the customer. This fee goes directly to the credit card processing provider—not to Savvy Bridal.

We have a strict NO RETURN policy. Gowns, veils and accessories are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Purchased items have been sold in ‘AS IS CONDITION’. Any deposits made on a purchased item are non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Yes — we’re happy to accommodate split payments or smaller deposits, though your gown won’t be ordered until the required deposit is complete.

Because gowns are made-to-order, all sales are final.

Yes! We offer a 10% discount for active-duty and veteran brides. Some designer exclusions may apply.

Yes — we ship throughout the U.S. and internationally. Shipping fees vary based on destination.

We use UPS for domestic and international orders.

You’ll receive an email with a tracking number once your gown is on its way.

Keep it in the  breathable garment bag until you’re ready for alterations or your wedding week. Once unpacked, hang it up to air out and relax the fabric.

We are RATED #1 by brides! We have a unique selection, so we like our brides to have gone to at least one other appointment before shopping at our boutiques. This will give you an idea of what you’re looking for before you go through our racks of gowns. Follow us on Instagram @savvybridal,  @savvybridalSTL & @savvybridalFTL for the latest Inventory. Be sure to grab lots of screenshots so you can show your bridal stylist.

At our Kansas City and St. Louis boutiques you will find sample gowns to try on, ranging between sizes 12-28.
In Fort Lauderdale, you will find sample gowns ranging between sizes 12-18.

Our sample gowns typically range from bridal sizes 12- 28, with many plus-size options available. We can special order gowns in sizes 2–30 to ensure the perfect fit for every bride.

Bring inspiration photos, proper undergarments, heels similar to your wedding shoes, and an open mind. A few supportive guests and your excitement are the best accessories!

We recommend bringing 3–4 trusted friends or family members whose opinions matter most to you. While our bridal suites can seat up to six guests, keeping your group small helps ensure your voice stays at the center of the experience.

Not at this time — but we always appreciate when our brides recommend Savvy Bridal to their friends!

If your wedding is more than 4 – 6 months away then schedule your appointment at Savvy Bridal in Kansas City, Saint Louis, or Fort Lauderdale boutiques as soon as you can. We always recommend ordering your dress at least 8-12 months prior to your wedding. The earlier the better! We do have “off-the-rack options” options ready to be taken home during your appointment, but selection is limited and subject to change.

Special order gowns across all locations range from $1,200 – $6,000, while off-the-rack gowns range from $800 – $3,500

Absolutely! We offer a curated selection of accessories to help you complete your bridal look. From veils, gloves, and scarves to add-on sleeves and detachable pieces, our stylists are here to help you style every detail to perfection. Whether you’re going for classic, modern, or something totally unique—we’ve got you covered.

Currently, accessories are available in-store only.

Ideally, when you’ve chosen your gown! Most accessories take 2–6 months to arrive, depending on the designer.

Of course! You’re welcome to shop our accessory collection regardless of where you found your dress.

Wear whatever makes you comfortable! We suggest a strapless nude bra, nude underwear, and Spanx (if desired).

Yes! We encourage you to take photos or short videos to help remember your favorites.

Special order gowns typically take 5–7 months to arrive from the time the order is placed. Please note that shipping times can vary slightly depending on the designer and time of year. We always recommend ordering early to ensure your dress arrives with ample time for alterations and fittings.

We’ll do our best to honor stylist requests. Just let us know when booking.

Yes! That’s our speciality! Many designers allow customizations such as straps, sleeves, fabric changes, adding buttons or neckline changes. Your stylist can guide you through the options.

Most wedding gowns are special-ordered, meaning your dress will be made just for you once you’ve chosen the style, size, and details.

Every bride is different. Some brides get emotional when they’ve found their dress, but some brides don’t. If you can envision yourself marrying your partner in the dress and it checks your boxes, then that’s “the one!”

Yes! Preservation starts around $249 and ensures your dress stays beautiful for years to come.

You can buy your package on our website and drop it off at our showroom. We’ll handle the cleaning and preservation process for you.

Store it flat or folded in a clean, breathable bag. Avoid plastic, sunlight, and damp spaces.

Your dress will be stored in a museum-quality preservation box, designed to protect the fabric for decades.

Not at all! We have rush options and off-the-rack gowns available for short timelines. Your stylist will help you find the perfect fit.

A rush order means we request your gown to be prioritized in the designer’s production schedule, allowing it to arrive in a shorter timeframe than usual. Rush fees apply and vary depending on the designer.

Fees vary by designer, style, and production timeline. Your stylist will go over all options before you order.

While we do not offer alterations in-house, we have relationships with many seamstresses that are experienced in bridal gown alterations that we can refer you to. Please note, we are not in agreements with our recommended seamstresses, nor do we receive any payment from them for your business.

We recommend scheduling your first fitting once your gown arrives — typically 2–3 months before your wedding. We’ll provide you with a list of trusted, vetted seamstresses who have extensive experience working with our gowns and brides.

Bring your wedding shoes and any undergarments you’ll wear on your big day.

We recommend budgeting $500 – $1000 for standard alterations. If you are wanting to make custom changes to your gown, we recommend budgeting $1000+ depending on the detail, structure and fabric of the gown.

Most brides require around three fittings, though the exact number depends on your gown and any custom alterations. We recommend checking with your seamstress, as each professional has their own process and timeline.

Minor size adjustments can be made during alterations. A skilled seamstress can take your dress in by two to three sizes

We always say the sooner the better. A seamstress takes on an allotted amount of brides per month. Once you say yes to the dress, call the seamstress and get on her books.

Keep it in its breathable garment bag, hung in a cool, dry place. Take it out to air a few days before the wedding. We recommend purchasing a handheld steamer for finishing touches.

We will have 200 dresses available for you to choose from. This wide selection includes various styles, fabrics, and silhouettes, giving you plenty of options to find the perfect gown that fits your vision for the big day.

A sample sale can be a whirlwind of excitement and energy, perfect for brides looking to snag a deal. However, it’s wise to have a clear idea of your desired style before attending. We recommend visiting at least one traditional bridal appointment first to help you refine your vision. This way, when you enter the sample sale, you’ll be ready to find your dream dress!

Appointments are 90 minutes long, so it’s a fast-paced experience! To make the most of your time, it’s beneficial to have a clear idea of what styles you’re interested in. Arriving with a vision can help streamline the process, allowing you to try on your top choices efficiently.

We recommend bringing 2-3 key people with you, such as a trusted friend or family member who understands your vision. The more people you bring, the more opinions you may encounter, which can sometimes lead to confusion about what you truly want. It’s all about focusing on your preferences and feeling comfortable in your choices.

Our sample gowns are priced between $800 and $3,500. We pride ourselves on the quality of our samples, ensuring they’re well-maintained and in beautiful condition. This is a fantastic opportunity to find a designer dress at a fraction of the retail price, allowing you to allocate more of your budget to other wedding details.

Savvy Bridal hosts a sample sale annually. Follow us on social media or join our email list for announcements.

A trunk show is a special event featuring a designer’s latest collection, often before it’s available anywhere else.

Yes, a bridal appointment is required to shop during a trunk show weekend.

Often yes! Many designers offer limited-time incentives during these events.

We typically carry sample sizes 6–30, with most around sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 22, 26, 28 and 30.

Bridal sizing can be tricky! We always recommend sizing up at least one to two dress sizes from your regular clothing size, as bridal sizes often run small. Don’t get too caught up in the numbers; instead, focus on how the dress makes you feel. Alterations can create a perfect fit, ensuring you feel amazing on your wedding day.

Alterations are not included in the sale price. On average, brides can expect to spend between $500 and $800 for basic alteration services. This investment is crucial for achieving a customized fit, so budget accordingly!

We offer flexible payment options for our off-the-rack gowns: you can pay in full and take your dress home immediately, or you can place a 50% deposit and pay the remaining balance within 30 days. This makes it easier to secure your dream dress without straining your budget.

We have a strict NO RETURN policy. Gowns, veils and accessories are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Purchased items have been sold in ‘AS IS CONDITION’. Any deposits made on a purchased item are non-refundable.

It’s a special event where our floor samples are sold at significant discounts.

All sales are final, and full payment is due at the time of purchase.

“Off-The-Rack” means you can take your dress home the same day! Once you say yes to the dress, it’s yours. This immediacy is part of the excitement of a sample sale, and it allows you to start planning your alterations right away.

Yes! Our Instagram is an excellent resource for previewing the styles we have in store. While we won’t know the exact gowns available in the sale until 3-4 days before, browsing our social media can help you narrow down your preferences and get inspired.

We do offer in-house cleaning for our samples! This service takes about 5-7 days. It’s a great option to ensure your dress is pristine before your big day, especially if it needs a little extra TLC.

Absolutely! You will have a dedicated bridal stylist to assist you in a private bridal suite. They’ll guide you through the selection process and help you find gowns that align with your vision, making it a personalized and enjoyable experience.

To make your appointment as productive as possible, we recommend wearing nude underwear and any shapewear you feel comfortable in. Consider bringing along any accessories you plan to wear on your wedding day, like shoes or jewelry, to get a complete picture of how the dress will look.

Most likely yes — alterations are almost always needed to achieve the perfect fit. We can recommend trusted seamstresses if needed.

Due to the nature of our merchandise, we kindly ask you not to bring any young children into the boutique (1-5 years old). A bridal salon is not a fun place for a small children, and they will very quickly get bored sitting in one spot for 1.5 hours. Additionally, too much happening will end up distracting you from your ultimate goal of finding your wedding gown as well as distracting other brides on this important day.

Yes! We are located street level on the ground floor of our building. We also have wheel chair ramps should you need assistance at both locations. Please call ahead and let us know if you need assistance and accommodations.

We love furry friends, but pets are not permitted inside Savvy for the comfort and safety of all our brides, guests, and gowns.

Not a problem! We are happy to ship your items purchased to you wherever you may call home. If you’re interested in purchasing a gown from us, but you’re unable to visit us in person to be measured – please give us a call so we can work through that special circumstance together.

We ask that you do not bring food or drinks to your appointment. We strive to protect the gowns in our store. When you say yes to the dress, we will bring out a champagne toast for you and your group completely on the house!

Only trained service animals as defined by the ADA are allowed inside. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted.

We have ample street parking in front of our boutiques and on the neighboring side streets. We recommend allowing a little extra time for parking and getting around the area, if you are not familiar.
