Just have your measurements taken by a professional tailor, seamstress, alterations specialist, or menswear professional in your area — then email them to us along with your full shipping address so we can verify everything before your order is finalized.

Savvy Bridal partners with Jim’s Formal Wear to offer curated suit and tux rentals (and purchases) for your wedding party. Our team helps you select styles during a Planning Appointment, coordinates everything with the rest of your bridal look, then takes measurements in a separate Measurement Appointment. Once sizing is submitted, Jim’s ships attire directly to each member of your party — no additional store visits required.

Tux Chat — A free, ~15-minute introductory call to discuss your vision, pricing, and options. Great for early-stage planners.

Planning Appointment — An in-store session (30 min) where we coordinate your groom’s look with the bridal palette, select styles, and set up your Jim’s Formal Wear party event. We encourage both the bride and groom to attend.

Measurement Appointment — A quick in-store session (~15–30 min) where we take individual measurements for each party member and submit sizing directly to Jim’s for ordering.

We recommend booking your Planning Appointment 6–9 months before your wedding date, and your Measurement Appointment 3–4 months out. The sooner measurements are completed, the smoother the ordering process for your entire party.

Wedding parties with five paid rentals receive the groom’s rental free. This is one of the benefits of booking your menswear through Savvy Bridal’s Jim’s Formal Wear partnership. Ask us about this during your Planning Appointment.

No — there is no fee associated with either appointment. If your plans change, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly.

Comfortable, well-fitting clothing is recommended. Avoid oversized layers or bulky outerwear, as we’ll be taking body measurements for accurate sizing. Most measurement appointments are quick and easy — plan for 15–30 minutes.

Yes — if everyone is available, we can measure your entire party in one appointment, which makes the process faster. If some members need to come separately or are out of town, that’s completely fine too. Just let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.

No problem at all. Out-of-town party members can have their measurements taken by a professional tailor, seamstress, alterations specialist, or menswear professional in their area. Jim’s Formal Wear ships each order directly to the address provided during your Measurement Appointment (or submitted with remote measurements). Orders can be shipped to a home, hotel, office, or destination. If attending a measurement appointment at Savvy, we’ll collect your shipping address and contact information during the visit.

Rentals start from approximately $190/person and are ideal for one-time wear. All rental items are returned within 48 hours of the wedding using the prepaid UPS label included in your shipment.

Purchases start from approximately $479/person through Jim’s Formal Wear and are a great option if the groom or others want to keep their look. The groom purchasing while the party rents is also a popular mix.

We’ll walk through all options, pricing, and timelines during your Planning Appointment.

You can browse the full Jim’s Formal Wear collection at jimsformalwear.com. During your Planning Appointment, our team will help you narrow down styles that coordinate with your bridal gown palette and wedding aesthetic.

All rental items must be returned within 48 hours of your wedding date. To return:

  1. Place all rental items back in the original shipping box or poly mailer bag
  2. Attach the prepaid return shipping label included with your order
  3. Drop the package off at any UPS location

Jim’s Formal Wear tracks all rental returns. Please do not delay.

All rental items included in your shipment must be returned, typically including: Coat, Pants, Vest (if applicable), Shirt, Tie or Bow Tie, Shoes, and any additional rental accessories. Take a moment to verify everything is included before shipping. If you’re unsure whether something is part of the rental package, reach out before dropping it off.

Failure to return items on time may result in additional charges. If rental items are not returned, the card on file may be charged the full replacement cost of all missing items — typically $349–$649+ per person, depending on what was rented, in addition to the original rental fee already paid. Returning everything on time is the best way to avoid any post-wedding surprises.
