At Savvy Bridal we are all about brides staying stress-free. Hence why we sell off the rack… Why stress for 6-8 months about your dressing coming in and you might or might not still love it a year later… Ekkk a little scary. But at Savvy you can find you designer dream dress for less and take it home that very same day!  Weddings are stressful, but they don’t have to be and we are here to help you with that!

So here are our top tips on how to stay stress free on your wedding day!

1. Hire a wedding coordinator.

First and foremost, hiring a wedding coordinator for set up, clean up, managing vendors and making sure they arrive on time, and keeping that timeline on track is absolutely imperative. This is something that we hear all the time from our Savvy brides. They learn this lesson the hard way, after the wedding! But you don’t have to….. Find someone that you can trust and will do a great job. Its money well spent, because it will allow you to be stress free on your big day and enjoy all the little and big moments!

2. Don’t let family and friends help out.

On the day of the wedding, it is all about relaxation and fun for you, your bridesmaids, AND your family and friends. No matter how much they offer or how much they want to help, do not allow your family and friends to do the set up, clean up, or act as one of your wedding vendors.

Why? Because if something goes wrong, you are going to be even more upset than you would have been if it were a hired professional. If you think about it, you argue more with your siblings than you do with friends…so don’t give yourself any reason to stress.

3. What’s done is done.

No matter how much you have left to plan or how much you have left to do, just remember that there is nothing you can do about it now. Stop thinking, “I should have done it earlier” or “I should have done it this way” because what’s done is done. Live in the moment and forget about what could have been done in the past.

4. Every mistake is laughable.

No matter what goes wrong – a broken zipper, a dropped cake, a stain on your veil – each and every moment can turn into a laughable memory. So instead of stressing and wishing it went exactly as planned, remember that something will ALWAYS go wrong on your wedding day and you might as well turn it into a funny memory!

5. Marriage is the only point of a wedding.

No matter what happens, if you are married at the end of the day then your wedding day was a success. Dance the night away with loved ones you may not see often, cherish every moment (because it will fly by way too fast), love, laugh, and remember that you get to spend the rest of your life with the most perfect person for you. And that’s all that matters!
