Answers to your OTR (Off-The-Rack) Questions
What is an Off -The-Rack wedding dress?
An off-the-rack wedding dress is a designer wedding gown sample or a stock piece dress we are willing to sell off the rack, which means you can take it with you as-is the same day you purchase it.
Do I need an appointment to try on off-the-rack wedding dresses?
Yes, we are strictly by appointment only. A stylist is required to shop our selection of off-the-rack wedding dresses. There is no charge to attend your appointment, however, our boutiques have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments require a credit card be placed on file when booking your bridal appointment. Brides who no-show to their appointment, or, cancel with less than 24-hours notice will be charged a $60.00 cancellation fee. A no-show is considered when a bride is over 15 minutes late to her appointment, and does not respond to any calls or texts from us.
What are the price range of off-the-rack dresses?
Off -the-rack dresses vary day today in price, size and style. Our inventory is every changing. Gowns are priced $500-$2,000.
Are off-the-rack dresses used?
No, off-the-rack wedding dresses at Savvy Bridal are samples dresses tried on, on our show room floor. We clean and take great care of our dresses. Rest assured you are getting a dress at a coveted price without having to sacrifices anything on your wish list. We also offer in house cleaning.
Can I return an off-the- rack dress?
No, all off-the-rack wedding dress purchases are final sale.
Can I try other dresses on other than off-the- rack when i am at my appointment?
Yes, you are welcome to try on any dress in store, if your budget and wedding date allows. Our special order gowns require approximately four to six months to arrive, depending on the designer. Please take this into consideration when scheduling your appointment. Once your gown arrives, you should also allow six to eight weeks for alterations before the wedding. We recommend starting the wedding dress shopping process nine months to one year prior to your wedding date, so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience!
