The Proposal: A Surprise in Texas
Every love story has its unforgettable moments, and for Alysse and Cameron, it all started with an unassuming road trip to Texas. As Alysse tells it, “We were driving down to Texas for a men’s slow pitch tournament. I was extremely car sick the entire ride there.”
After finally arriving at their hotel, Alysse was getting ready for dinner, battling the lingering motion sickness while applying her makeup. “Cameron, as always, was rushing me,” she laughs. But what seemed like just another pre-dinner scramble turned into the most life-changing moment of her life.
“When I came out of the bathroom to tell him to stop rushing me, he was down on one knee ‘tying his shoe.’ I asked him what he was doing and the next thing I knew he pulled a ring box from under the bed!” Alysse was absolutely speechless. In classic laid-back style, they celebrated the big “Yes!” with dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It was intimate, spontaneous, and completely them.
Wedding Day Magic
Fast forward to the wedding day, and it was everything they had dreamed of — and more. Alysse reflects, “The most special memory from the big day was having all our friends and family gather to celebrate us. It truly was the best day, filled with so much joy!”
