#SavvyBride: Katrina and Ryon
Some wedding days feel like they belong exactly where they happen. For SavvyBride Katrina and Ryon, that meant a romantic summer celebration surrounded by towering pine trees, mountain views, wild greenery, and the peaceful waters of Flathead Lake.
They said “I do” at Somers Mansion in Somers, Montana, where an intimate outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake flowed into a relaxed reception filled with personality, color, and plenty of celebration.
And at the center of it all was Katrina in a romantic floral wedding dress that felt beautifully at home in the Montana landscape.

A Wedding Day Surrounded by Montana Beauty
With Flathead Lake and the mountains stretching across the horizon, Katrina and Ryon hardly needed additional scenery for their ceremony.
Their outdoor vows took place on the lawn at Somers Mansion, surrounded by tall pine trees and their closest family and friends. Soft clouds and a little rain only added to the atmosphere. Instead of taking away from the celebration, the weather gave the photographs a wonderfully romantic, almost cinematic quality.
The ceremony itself felt intimate and natural. Guests gathered on simple white chairs facing the lake while understated floral arrangements brought soft touches of pink, yellow and greenery to the setting.

The Dress: Romantic Florals Made for a Lakeside Wedding
Katrina’s wedding dress was especially beautiful against the natural surroundings.
The gown featured a soft, romantic silhouette covered in an oversized floral pattern. From a distance, it looked effortlessly elegant; up close, the floral texture gave the dress dimension and visual interest without overpowering Katrina.
The off-the-shoulder neckline created a romantic frame around the bodice, while the statement sheer floral sleeves added another layer of softness. The flowing skirt continued into a beautiful train, allowing the floral pattern to become even more noticeable in the full-length portraits.
Katrina also showed how beautifully one dress can move through different parts of a wedding day. During the ceremony, the sleeves created a dreamy, romantic look. In some of the later photographs, the styling feels lighter and more relaxed, allowing the gown to transition naturally from ceremony to celebration.
Paired with a colorful garden-inspired bouquet filled with soft pinks, yellows, blues and greenery, the overall bridal look felt fresh, romantic and perfectly suited to a June wedding in Montana.

Finding a Wedding Dress That Feels Like You
At Savvy Bridal, the wedding dress shopping experience is about more than finding a beautiful gown.
It is about finding the dress that makes you feel like yourself on one of the biggest days of your life.
Every bride arrives with a different vision. Some have saved inspiration photos for years. Others walk through our doors without knowing whether they want lace, satin, fitted, flowing, simple or detailed. Both approaches are completely okay.
Our stylists take the time to learn what you love, what makes you comfortable and how you want to feel when you walk down the aisle. From there, we help you explore silhouettes and details that bring that vision to life.
Katrina’s final bridal look is a wonderful reminder that your dress doesn’t have to compete with your venue or your personality. The right gown becomes part of the story.
Against Montana’s pine trees, green fields and mountain landscape, the dimensional floral design of Katrina’s dress looked completely at home.
A glimpse into Katrina and Ryon’s wedding day

From Lakeside “I Do” to a Cozy Reception
After the outdoor ceremony, the celebration continued at Somers Mansion, whose pavilion provided a warm, rustic setting for dinner, dancing and celebrating with loved ones.
The wood-paneled reception space brought a cozy contrast to the expansive outdoor scenery. In one particularly sweet image, Katrina and Ryon share a close embrace on the dance floor beneath the wooden ceiling while their DJ plays nearby.
The wedding party added even more color to the celebration.
The bridesmaids wore an assortment of pastel and warm-toned dresses rather than one identical color, creating a playful palette of blue, pink, green, yellow and orange. The groomsmen complemented the look in neutral suits, while Ryon stood out in a rich brown suit.
Together, the entire wedding party created a look that felt coordinated without being overly matched—a perfect fit for the relaxed, outdoor character of the celebration.

Congratulations, Katrina & Ryon
Katrina and Ryon’s June wedding brought together so many details we love: an unforgettable natural setting, colorful florals, a romantic wedding dress, a little unexpected weather, intimate moments and plenty of personality.
Most importantly, their photographs feel like them.
Katrina, thank you for choosing Savvy Bridal to be a small part of such an important chapter in your story. Seeing our SavvyBrides finally wearing their gowns down the aisle is one of our favorite parts of what we do.
Congratulations, Katrina and Ryon! We wish you a lifetime filled with as much laughter, adventure and love as your beautiful Montana wedding day.
